Problems updating MySQL on Ubuntu 16.04?
Click here. From there I was able to figure out that credentials were missing in /etc/mysql/debian.cnf.

Getting messages from PHP about missing suhosin.so in Debian Wheezy? You’re not alone.
Do this as root: dpkg -P php5-suhosin This will get rid of the messages, as seen here.

AWU on Debian Wheezy (and tips on getting Postfix to talk to saslauthd)
AWU is on Debian Wheezy (7.0) now. Everything went great, except for getting Postfix to connect to saslauthd for authentication. Woot! AWU is now on MariaDB! I followed the instructions at this link. And yes, I upgraded to move away from Oracle, which has not always been friendly to open source.
