Check out the link here from IAF…basically the IAF purchased ads on the buses in Des Moines and the transit agency, DART, has removed them as of yesterday due to the volume of complaints. You can call DART at 515-283-8111 or email at dart@ridedart.com. According to this article at kcci.com, DART says the ads were “accidentally” put in the buses, and the board did not approve the ads. Also, KCCI says that DART says people were refusing to get on the buses just because they had a sign that said “Don’t believe in God? You are not alone.” Grow up, people.
BTW, I want to mention that if you contact DART, please be polite. Being an asshole to this public agency does the atheist cause no good.
