7:00 PM: Teach-in with Joe Gerson: (description shamelessly stolen from Karen Stansbury’s email) “Come to the Library for a potluck dinner followed by a teach-in on nuclear weapons and politics by Joseph Gerson, author and New England Regional Program Director for the American Friends Service Committee. Bring a dish to share if you’d like. This is part of a series of programs exploring the realities of Iranian culture, religiion and politics sponsored by the Iranian Students Scholars Association and Ames Public Library.” This will be in the Farwell T. Brown Auditorium, the main auditorium of the Library.
