I am not making this up…audiophools all over can now buy gold-plated fuses for their systems for $39 a pop.
24K gold. I swear to $DEITY I am not making this up. Gold simply does not make a difference here. The only time one would actually need this product is if the hifi gear is installed in a highly corrosive environment, and in that case every contact and PCB trace better be solid gold as well. (Come to think of it, platinum might be a better choice.)
I’m waiting for someone to come out with that.
If you really want high-end audio, go get yourself some pro-sound gear, not stuff that claims to be “audiophile” or “high-end audio” equipment. You’ll get *so* much more for your dollar.
