40 years ago today, humanity landed on the moon. There isn’t a lot that I can say here that hasn’t already been said everywhere else, except to say that when I was a kid, my heroes were astronauts like Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins. I wish I could go to space, but I probably won’t. Because of my heroes, I’m the geek I am today, and I look forward to the future. I want to, somehow, push America back into pushing the limit of human spaceflight again.
