Hack the Vote III: Florida Machines Prefer Republicans?

According to this article in the Register (the online tech mag, not the Des Moines Register), some voters in Florida are having problems with voting for Democrats. It appears the touchscreens are getting out of sync with the ballot displayed on the screen, sort of like what PalmPilots do as they get older. If you use the electronic machines at the voting booth, be sure to check that the machine is registering your vote correctly! (Editor’s Note: Although I’m putting this in the “Diebold” category, the article does not make clear whether this involved Diebold machines or not.)
