What the hell happened here?

I wanted to start out by saying that if you are still coming to this website, thank you. As you can see, I kind of did a nuke-and-repave of the whole place.

It started about a year ago, when the co-creator of Wordpress went a little off the rails (explained here). I, like many other Wordpress site admins, was concerned with the future of Wordpress, and also did not want to be connected with a Mark Zuckerberg techbro wannabe. So, after some flailing about, I've settled on Ghost, which has installed (mostly) easily. Maybe this will bring some joy back to blogging.

I also took this opportunity to completely start over with new content. The old site had just gotten too bloated, with way too much personal history that is no longer very relevant to the sex-positive atheist lefty activist I have become. Expect some design changes in the next few weeks.
